I love The Body Shop. If you read my recent post on their new range of makeup brushes you’ll already be aware that I may be slightly biased towards the brand and the products they send because I’ve loved the The Body Shop for years. It was one of those cool blogging moments when I was put onto their PR list. The latest products I’ve been sent are from the new Almond Milk & Honey range. The first thing I noticed about these products was the smell. As soon as I opened the package I could smell them and straight away I was like YES, THE BODY SHOP. YES. I also love that this range is for dry, sensitive skin. I’ve been trying to implement a proper skincare routine for ages but my skin is so fussy and I’ve been finding it difficult to find a range that works for me. These products may have fixed that issue!
Calming & Protecting Hand Cream
Love a good hand cream! I carry this in my bag with me and pop it on my desk. Having it with me constantly reminds me to look after my hands – I often neglect them – and the smell of this is to die for. My favourite thing about this range is probably the smell.
Super soft skin that smells like almond milk and honey? Yes please. You know that feeling when you’ve just shaved your legs and you’re like yaaaas I’m a soft and silky mermaid queen? That’s one of the best feelings ever – one of life’s little pleasures, I think – times that by ten and you’ve got how my legs feel after using this with the body butter afterwards.
Soothing & Caring Cleansing Bar
I often find that with products like this I don’t quite feel clean. That may sound strange, I appreciate, but when it comes to cleansing milks and bars it can sometimes feel that you’re just putting more onto your skin rather than washing it. One of the reasons I loved this was because it didn’t feel like that at all. It was a great balance between actually getting clean and feeling a bit indulgent.
Soothing & Restoring Body Butter
This works brilliantly with the cleansing bar so I’d recommend using them together as I seem to get better results this way. The body butter helps to soften and moisturise the skin after cleansing which is so important, yet something I’m often lazy about.
For me these products made the skincare routine feel really luxurious and I always feel like I’ve had a good old pamper sesh with these. The skin feels soft and smooth – silky, almost – and as I’ve mentioned probably fifty billion times, the products smell great. I’d really like to try out the exfoliator next to complete the routine so I think I’ll be giving that a go. This may well be my favourite range from The Body Shop so far.
