Covershoot Cosmetics & Learning to Contour

I received a beauty box from Covershoot Cosmetics last week and, this sounds so silly in this day and age, but I finally learnt to contour and I’m pretty happy about it. As much as I love makeup I’m actually not that good at it, so learning to contour was quite a big deal for me! It feels like my makeup routine is getting longer and longer as things keep gradually getting added as I learn to do them and I love it.

Anyways, here’s what was in the box:

Contour Kit
Possibly my fave product in the box. This kit comes with a little guide which explains exactly where you should be putting each colour which for me is absolutely ideal because, to put it bluntly, I haven’t got a clue what I’m doing half of the time.

Smokey Eyes Eyeshadow Palette
If you’ve read my post on the SEVENTEEN Easy on the Eye eyeshadow palette you’ll know that I was very late to the whole eyeshadow game, and even now I’m a bit scared of wearing anything bolder than coppers, golds or pinks. I feel like the smokey eye is something that every girl knows how to do and can pull off, so I’ve been thinking about it for a while. This little kit contains everything I need to get the perfect smokey eye with minimal effort – great for people like me with not much confidence in the eyeshadow department!

Eyebrow Kit
I have a love-hate relationship with my eyebrows. Sometimes they’re awful and take a lot of maintenance – I have naturally thick, dark brows – and sometimes I’m like yaaaas big brows! As with the eyeshadow, I was quite late to the ‘brows on fleek’ party and didn’t start using any products on them until earlier on this year.

Twist Pot
I love these things! Literally, if you don’t have one, you need to get one. Especially if you’re a bit of a lazy gal like me. All you do is put your finger into the pot, twist it around a little bit, and all your nail polish comes off. So quick and easy and it even works for the more stubborn polishes containing glitter and fancy bits.
