Mini Nail Polish Splurge: Pastels

Usually in Winter I wear darker nail polishes – reds, burgundies, blacks – and save the brighter colours for the Spring and Summer months. This year I decided that my Winter needed a bit of brightening up so had a look for some more vibrant polishes and fell in love with these pastel colours. Barry M are brilliant for nail varnishes and offer a vast range of shades but I particularly like their pastels.

These are a few of my favourites:

-Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint in Sugar Apple (531)
-Rimmel London 60 Second Super Shine in Ring A Ring Of Roses (262)
-Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint in Prickly Pear (432)
-Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint in Blueberry (434)

Pastel Nail Polishes

Ring A Ring Of Roses is one of my favourite polishes at the moment and is actually a great colour for any time of the year – it’s a beautiful shade of pink that offers a bit of colour during the Winter seasons but also looks great with tanned skin, so I tend to wear this a bit during the Summer months, too. (But I’m biased, I love pink.)

These are all thick, long-lasting polishes and even better, they’re totally affordable with the Barry M ones retailing at £3.99 and Rimmel at £2.99.

I’d love to hear about your favourite nail polishes – I like to try out new colours so any recommendations would be great!
